Adam Mundahl

Our beloved Adam Jacob Mundahl is rejoicing in heaven as of November 8, 2017. He was born on November 12, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas to Darrel Mundahl and Hope (Mundahl) Strey. While running service for his father's air conditioning business, he fell in love with the Hill Country. In the early 1980's

He moved his family to Kerrville and continued the family business, State Aire Heating and Air Conditioning. With an unbelievable work ethic and desire to do things right, many of his customers became his closest friends. He was loved throughout the community. Not only was he a great story teller, a comforter, a stranger to no one, he was selfless, and passionate about Jesus, music, his children, and life. Any kind of sport, snow skiing, outdoors, boating and skiing on lake Ingram, were some of his favorite past times. He was the happiest in life surrounded by his family. His smile, attitude, and optimistic outlook on life guaranteed he'd never meet a stranger and tied his large family together. He was a God-fearing believer in Christ and spread the word to all who would listen.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Hope Mundahl Strey. He is survived by his wife Debbie; the mother of his children Cheryl Mundahl; children Nathan Mundahl (Jamie), and Brenda Christmas (Karl);stepson Christopher Mclachlan and Ben Peles (Patricia); Grandchildren Kara, Luke, Mallory, Ellie, and Mila; his father Darrel Mundahl (Beatrice), and siblings Gene Mundahl, Michael Mundahl, Liz Sawdon (Dale), Chris Mundahl (Andera), and Paul Stery (Jennifer), and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Temple Church. The family request in lieu of customary remembrances, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
