Adda Moyers

Adda Templeton Moyers, 90, of Kerrville, Texas entered into rest Thursday, October 9, 2003 at a local care facility. Mrs. Moyers was born April 19, 1913 to James and Georgia Templeton in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Texas and became a science teacher. She was very active with the Girl Scouts of the USA in Houston and was a member of the American Association of University Women and the Womens Garden Club. She was also a member of the Presbyterian Church in Kerrville. Mrs. Moyers was preceded in death by her husband John B. Moyers on July 1, 1984.She is survived by a son James Moyers and wife Penny of Beaumont, TX daughter, Virginia Ginger Moyers and husband Frank of Kerrville, TX 2 grandchildren, Lisa Carswell of Wichita Falls and Douglas Moyers of Austin, TX and 7 greatgrandchildrenArrangements are under the direction of Kerrville Funeral Home.
