Alice Espinoza Delgadillo, 71, born into this world February 8, 1953, went to be with her Lord on May 22, 2024.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents Eusebio & Beatrice Espinoza and daughter Racheal Ramirez.
She is survived by her loving and doting husband, Jim Delgadillo; brother and sister-in-law, Louis & Argentina Espinoza of San Antonio, Texas; her six remaining children & their spouses, Adrianna & Alex Sanchez, James & Amy Delgadillo, Amy Espinoza, Nina Delgadillo & Terran Fields, Christopher & Jessica Delgadillo, Edward & Veronica Ramirez. Alice was a loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren, who brought her days full of joy.
Alice was born on a Sunday in Kerrville, Texas. She attended and graduated Tivy High School and went on to study medical assistant classes in San Antonio where she worked for a family doctor until the day, she became a mother. Alice moved back to Kerrville where she met Jim in 1976 and together, they raised their family. Alice made a home for many children & teens who needed a place to feel love and acceptance at any time; all while teaching them how important it was to upkeep your home. There was never a day at Alice’s where you didn’t see double the number of kids she raised washing windows, scrubbing carpets, mowing the grass, or sweeping the dirt. Alice worked for Kerrville ISD for 20 years, ending her time with them as the Head Custodian for Peterson Middle School. After she left KISD she spent her days showering her grand kids and great grand kids with love. Alice will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery, next to her parents.
Our family would like to give a special acknowledgement: In the last years, when Mom required more than she could give, her daughters Amy & Nina along with her granddaughter Elizabeth spent every day helping her through the days, navigating care, appointments, and entertainment. She loved the days Nina would drive her to Kickapoo and then get to come back and spend her days with Amy lounging and watching Law & Order all while having Liz and her babies there to light up her day.
(Thank you, Jim Delgadillo & family)
