Arlene Joyce Rodriguez

Arlene Joyce Rodriguez, 63, of Kerrville, Texas, unexpectedly passed July 14, 2025. Arlene was born on February 17, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas to Ruben and Alice Chapa. She was a gifted and talented student graduating from McCollum High School in 1980. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Texas at Austin; shortly thereafter, she married Carlos Rodriguez on May 11, 1985, in Austin, Texas. Arlene was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and was baptized November 1982 at an Austin Assembly. Later, she was part of the 89th Graduating Class of the Watchtower Bible School of Gilead in 1990. During the 1990’s, Arlene spent many years as a missionary living in Tegucigalpa and El Progreso, Honduras. After her return from Honduras, she gained her insurance license working in Kerrville for Falcon/Acrisure Insurance for nearly 18 years.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents. Her surviving family members include her siblings and their spouses, Brenda and Kevin Rankin, Ruben and Lori Chapa and Romeo E. Chapa, nieces and nephews, Claire, Austin, Ryan, Amanda, Laurence and Dominic. There are also surviving aunts, uncles and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Kerrville Kingdom Hall, 2160 Goat Creek Rd, Kerrville, Texas 78028 on Saturday, 2 August 2025 at 1:30 pm.
