Bobby Stone Timmons

Bobby Stone Timmons, age 54, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at a local hospital in Kerrville, Texas. Bobby was born on March 31, 1969 in Clovis, New Mexico to loving parents, Dr. Robert Timmons and Barbara Timmons (Wengert).

Bobby spent most of his growing up years in Clovis and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Later in life he moved to Austin, Texas where he met his wife in 2001. They later married on December 15, 2007, in Portales, New Mexico. He spent most of his adult life as a truck driver and working construction. He was the biggest Raider’s fan; watching every game he could. Bobby always had a smile and an encouraging word for people. Always saying, “Keep your head up”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Barbara Timmons; brother, Christopher Timmons; and mother-in-law, Honda Young.   

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Christy Timmons of Kerrville, Texas; daughter, Ashley Timmons of Decatur, Illinois; his three sons, James Franklin (wife Kayla), Jamari Timmons and JaQuan Timmons all of Kerrville, Texas; grandchildren, Zayne, Zoey, Zander, KJ, Jayshaun, Kingston and Milani.   

The family would like to invite everyone to join them for a Celebration of Life for Bobby at 1pm on January 20, 2024, at Macedonia First Baptist Church in Bastrop, Texas.
