Carl Boulware

Carl was born in Kerrville, TX on December 21, 1929 during a snow storm. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years from 1948 to 1969. He was the Housing Oflicer at Brooks AFB, San Antonio, TX for 15 years and at Kelly AFB, TX for 3 years and owned several car wash businesses.

He loved to fish and won the San Antonio Bass Club Championship in 1975. Carl was a fabulous lead guitar player who lived to make music from the time he was 5 years old to the end of his life. He loved to travel and was very proud to have visited all 50 of these United States.He was always involved with his church and their activities. The Sonlight Chapel (to the family, The Mission) was a part of his life from 1935 to the present.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, their son, David and his wife, Joan their daughter, Robyne and husband, Dr. Mark Vaughn.Grandson Brad and his wife, Jessica Boulware, Granddaughters and husbands: Jaclyn and John Denmon, Anna and J.D. Arredondo,Sarah and Trey Porter, Elizabeth and Kurt McKenney.Great Grandchildren,Luke and Lyla Boulware, Cole, Max & Sam Denmon, and Grayson Coventry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Ernest and Jewel Boulware, his brothers, Wayne Truett Boulware, Jackson William Boulware, & Chester Paul Boulware. Passed on May 13, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, on Friday, May 18, 2018 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028, Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery.
