Catheryn A. Davis

Catheryn Ann Davis, 80, passed away on August 13, 2025, at a care facility in Kerrville. She was born on November 12, 1944, in Gatesville, Texas.

Catheryn had a spirit for nurturing and caring for others, a calling she embraced wholeheartedly as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and as a homemaker caring for her family. Catheryn was a woman of many interests. She found joy in bird watching, where she would appreciate the beauty of nature and its creatures. Her passion for growing flowers reflected her nurturing spirit, as she cultivated vibrant plants that were a source of pride and beauty. She also had a keen hobby in rock collecting, relishing in the variety and stories that each stone held.

In life, Catheryn was surrounded by love. She was married to her devoted husband, Jim, for an enduring 62 years. Together, they raised a beautiful family, which includes their children, Donna (Bill), Gary (Tracy), and Michael (Amber). Her legacy continued to flourish through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will always carry her memory in their hearts. Catheryn is remembered lovingly by her surviving brother, Billy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann; brother, Bobby; as well as her great-grandson, Trevor.

As a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Catheryn Ann Davis will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her unwavering spirit and joyful outlook on life will forever be an inspiration to her family and all whose lives she touched.

The family will hold private services to honor her memory.
