Cindy Lou Ince

Cindy Lou Ince, age 62, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer, finding comfort in the decision that it was time to be at peace surrounded by family. Born on April 8, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, to Jerry and Linda Lauck. Cindy grew up with a deep love for her family and a strong, spirited heart that stayed with her throughout life.

Cindy was a devoted mother, proud of the men her two sons became.

Cindy had a heart full of creativity and love. She found joy in crafting personalized gifts, leatherworking with Wick, and journaling the moments and memories that meant the most to her. She preserved her boys' milestones in scrapbooks and newspaper clippings, always their biggest fan. You could often find her in the kitchen at Crider’s, sneaking fries and catfish to “her boys” before joining them for a dance or two. Cindy loved fiercely and spoke boldly—traits that endeared her to everyone lucky enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to the people she held dear. She will be missed more than words can say.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Stephen “Wick” Wickersham, and their loyal companion, BamBam the German Shepherd.

Cindy is survived by her son, Brandon Ince and his wife, Teighlor of Lubbock, and their children, Layne, Jaxon, Laramie, and Lathen; and her son, Jaron Ince and his wife, Whitney of Kerrville, and their children, Ava and Jett. Her grandchildren were her biggest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Cindy is also survived by her sisters, Tammie Reid (children: Zachery, Austin, and Jade) and Starla Lauck (children: Adyan and Ethan).
