Deborah Lynn Westall

Deborah Lynn Westall, 70, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on March 11, 2023 at a local hospital. 

Deborah was born July 22, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas.  A 1970 Campus High School graduate, she then attended Emporia State University, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

On May 27, 1975, she married Robert Westall in Wichita, Kansas. Five years later, they sold everything and moved to American Samoa to work for the US government.  While working there, they adopted three girls from the South Pacific.  They moved back to the United States, and settled in Lockwood, Missouri, and continued raising their children.  Deborah worked for the US government for eight years in American Samoa and 22 years for the city of Springfield, Missouri.

After retiring in May 2011, she moved to Kerrville, Texas to spend more time with her father.  As she settled in Kerrville, she became a member of the Giver Connection, Hill Country Quilt Guild, and Vereins Quilting Guild, where she loved visiting and making quilts with her friends.

Deborah is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Terry Westall (1996); mother, Naomi Tomek (2003), and Boyce Tomek (2016).

Those left to honor her memory include three daughters, Meliame Vea and husband Aisea, Saite Westall, Leilani Westall and fiancé Tim Raab; 3 granddaughters, Teri Lynn Westall, Anaseini Vea, and Kinley Raab.

Memorial services will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel.  Following services there will be a reception held at the Doyle Center.
