Dolores S. Rodriguez, 95, a longtime native of Kerrville, TX, went to her final resting place on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by family and friends. 

Memorial services will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jimmy Bill officiating. 

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by: Mrs. Carmen Garza, Mrs. Guadalupe Silvas, Ms. Christine Rodriguez, Ernest Rodriguez, Ms. Sylvia Rodriguez, Ms. Susan Rodriguez, Mr. Daniel Rodriguez, Mr. Joe Henry Rodriguez, and her 165 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in resting by her mother and father, Mr. Jesus, Mrs. Refugia, Sierra Rodriguez; siblings, Conseulo Rodriguez and Miguel Rodriguez. sons, Roy Dean Rodriguez, Alberto Rodriguez, Jesse Rodriguez, Richard Rodriguez; son-in-laws, Edward Garza, Jesús Carabajal Silvas, Nathan Benson, Zachary Brown; daughter-in-law, Wanda Jones Rodriguez; grandsons, Estevan Jesús Silva, and Chad Maddox. 

Ms. Dolores was born in Stanton, TX, when she visited her mother in the 1940’s, she decided to call the Hill Country her home. She worked as a kitchen manager for the Schreiner family. She later began a career at Kerrville State Hospital as a Supervisor and Environmental Specialist, where she remained until her retirement in 1992. Ms. Dolores was a long-time resident who was loved by many in the Doyle District. She was known as a gracious host; her home knew no stranger from near or far. Ms. Dolores had a wonderful life surrounded by a large family, which she enjoyed every moment of. She will be dearly missed, but until then, “Dios te bendiga!”
