Evan Hugo Peterson Jr. 90, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

He was born on September 19, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN to parents, Evan H. Peterson Sr. and Clara L. Duwe.  He grew up in Minneapolis, MN and on March 22, 1952 he married the love of his life, Marian Marsh.  Together they had 4 children, Susan, Janice, Diane and Jeffrey. He attended Business School at the University of Minnesota and worked as an accountant for Pillsbury Mills.  Unfulfilled  as an accountant, Evan decided to go to medical school.  He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1964. Upon graduation, the family moved to St. Croix Falls, WI where he joined the St. Croix Falls Clinic and practiced as a Family Practice Physician for 20 years.  After retirement, Evan and Marian moved to Kerrville, Texas.

Evan had a passion for flying.  He had Mooney airplane as well as a Float Plane which he enjoyed flying from the family lake house in Wisconsin. It was his passion for flying that lead them to Kerrville in the first place. In Kerrville Evan restored 7 classic automobiles.  He and Marian were part of the Fredericksburg, TX Vintage Car Club in which they enjoyed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Clara Peterson and two sisters, Jean Peterson and Dorothea Peterson LaMont.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Marian Peterson; daughters; Susan (Steve) DeMars, Janice (David) Bader and Diane (James) Milligan; son, Jeffrey (Kristi) Peterson, 10 grandchildren, sixteen greatgrandchildren, nephews; Steve LaMont and Robert (Cindy) LaMont, and niece, Terri (Roger) Bjork.

No local services will be held.
