Helga Matilda Pakkila, age 79, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at a nursing home in Fredricksburg. She was born December 6, 1923 in Hoods Canal, Washington to Andrew Emil Pakkila and Rosa Alexandra Holmberg Pakkila.Helga is survived by a sister, Helen Lee of Tow, TX and a brother John Pakkila of Buchanan Dam.Garveside services will be conducted Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 2 P.M. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville.
