John Thomas

John Erik Thomas, 49, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on July 1,2021 at his residence. He was born on January 15,1972 in Dayton, Ohio to parents, John Robert and Cinda Louise (Landis) Thomas.

Erik was 1990 graduate of Tipp City High School in Ohio. He spent most of his career working as a quality control technician at Tool Testing Lab in Vandalia, Ohio. After seventeen years apart, Erik reconnected with the love of his life, Jessica Purtee, and they married on February 3,2012 in Urbana, Ohio. Erik and Jessica lived in Woodstock, Ohio before moving to Kerrville in 2017. Erik was an avid amateur HAM radio operator and loved connecting with people all over the world.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, John Robert and Cinda Louise Thomas.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include wife, Jessica Thomas; stepson, Jake Gardner (Kinzie), brothers, Marv Thomas (Jenn), Robb Thomas (Josie) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
