Johnny Garcia, Jr.

KERRVILLE Johnny Garcia, Jr., 42, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born on February 2, 1972 in Hondo, TX to parents, Juan P. and Maria Elena Garcia.

Being raised in Hondo, TX, Johnny moved to Kerrville in 1981 where he made his home. He was the father of two sons, a daughterinlaw, and a granddaughter of whom he enjoyed tremendously. He was a person who looked forward to the holidays to be spent with family, and could not wait for the homemade Tamales Johnny was also a big caregiver to his parents, along with loving to spend time with his girlfriend and her daughter.

Johnny enjoyed going to car shows, a good BBQ with family, and just shooting the breeze with whoever might have time to visit. He was known for telling everyone, Just live one day at a time

He is preceded in death by his sister, Nelda B. Cleveland.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his parents, Juan P. and Maria Elena Garcia sisters, Sally Hernandez, Terri Garcia and husband Mike, Chrissy Garcia, and Melissa Garcia sons, Tommy Lee and Johnny Ray Garcia granddaughter, Addison Garcia daughterinlaw, Andrea Marquez his girlfriend, Nora Gonzales and her daughter, Tori Gonzales, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of many loving friends and neighbors who will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2014 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028.
