Jose T. Barrientos

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Trinidad Barrientos, 50,

residing in Kerrville, Tx. Jose was deeply loved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Son, and Friend … and will be missed greatly by so many.

Junior’s benevolent soul, his thirst for knowledge, his creative nature, his compassion permeated his entire life. His sense of adventure and capacity for love and laughter will always be remembered. Junior lived life to the fullest… he was happiest when he was doing anything outdoors. From hunting and fishing to being surrounded by family hosting cookouts. He was the first one ready to go when others needed a hand, no matter how big or small the task. If Jose couldn’t fix it no one could.

Jose is survived by his wife, Delma Barrientos; son, Zachary Barrientos and his wife Vianca Barrientos; daughter, Breeannah Mitchell and her husband Daniel Mitchell; daughter, Kaydince Barrientos; cherished grandson, Miles Barrientos; along with brothers, Luis and Francisco Barrientos.

He was predeceased by his Father, Trinidad Barrientos and his Mother, Juana de Dios Gutierrez.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at Buckhorn Lake Resort, 2885 Goat Creek Rd, Kerrville, Tx. 78028 from 2pm to 5pm. John 14:27
