Justin Eckis

Justin Craig Eckis was born in Pasadena, TX on April 3, 1980 and was taken by our Lord on September 7, 2021.  He was 41. Justin was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and stepbrother. For those lucky to have known him, Justin was a kind person and a loyal friend with a personality that made people laugh. He never knew a stranger. He was  an animal lover and a long time fan of the Miami Dolphins. He played varsity soccer in high school and had a true love for the sport.

Justin remains a beautiful spirit who made our world a better place and though we mourn his passing from this physical world, we take comfort in knowing he knew and loved his Savior Jesus Christ. He now lives on in Heaven in the arms of Jesus and surrounded by angels, his Dad and the rest of his loving family for eternity.

He is survived by his mother Kimberly Ann Cochran, his Grandparents Robert and Carole Colenbaugh, his Uncle Bill and Aunt Kelly Hackel, his cousin Benjamin Peacock, his step-mother Brenda Eckis, step-brother William Schuman, step-sister Kelli Wilz, and his Aunt Kristine Eckis and cousins Donald and Gregory.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Daniel Craig Eckis, his Aunt Donna Eckis, his Uncle Kenneth Eckis, and his Grandparents, Dr. Thomas J. Cochran, Jr., Robert W. and Margaret Eckis and Great Grandparents, Thomas J. and Fay Cochran, Thomas and Carrie Rogers and Great Uncle Doug and Aunt Nancy Fay Cochran.

Visitation will be held on from 5-6PM on Thursday, September 23,2021 at Kerrville Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following.
