Leanora Hansard Richardson, of Kerrville, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the age of 86 years.

A visitation will be held on December 7, 2025 from 3:00-5:00p.m. at Kerrville Funeral Home. A service will be held on December 8, 2025 at 2:00p.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville with Craig McCoy officiating.

Leanora was born September 12, 1939 in Dallas, TX to Elbert Aubrey and Ruth Alyne Hansard. After graduating high school Leanora married Wayne Richardson and had 3 children, after several moves she and her children settled down in Kerrville, TX in 1968. Leanora did part time bookkeeping work at several local businesses and worked full time at the VA hospital where she retired in 2006 after 30 years.

Leanora is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Aubrey and Ruth Alyne Hansard; 2 brothers, Don and Butch Hansard, son, Steve Richardson; daughter, Terrye Richardson, great-grandson, Ethan Richardson and great-granddaughters, Piper and Parker Richardson.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Richardson of Kerrville, her 3 grandchildren and spouses, Lucas & Sandra Richardson of New Brockton Alabama, Katie & Stanley DeLoof of Fredericksburg, and Benjamin & Jennifer Ricahrdson of Burnet as well as her 8 great-grandchildren: Kyle & Landon Richardson, Sarah, Emma, Anna & Olivia DeLoof, and Peyton & Elizabeth Richardson.
