Lona Beth Bauer Newman, 71, of Kerrville, TX, passed from this life on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Kerrville. Lona Beth was born on April 12, 1945 to Henry Hext and Ruth (Flippin) Hext in Throckmorton,TX.

Lona Beth married David Newman, November 16, 2013. In life, she enjoyed being a homemaker, devoted wife and mother. She loved her cats and was an avid reader who loved to travel.

Lona Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruth Hext and first husband, Billy Bauer.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her daughters, Julie and husband Joe Williford; Jana and husband Cody Fuller; Lacey and husband Chance Elliott; and numerous grandkids and great grandkids.

A Memorial Service will be held 2PM Sunday, December 4th 2016, at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy Kerrville, TX 78028.
