Margaret Clark
October 5, 1934 – May 14, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Jane Hanna-Clark who departed us on May 14, 2026. She was born in Santa Rosa, Texas on October 5, 1934. Her parents were James Desmond Hanna and Franny Lucille Huddle. She grew up in Kerrville TX and graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville.
She left Kerrville, moved to Dallas to attend Draughon's Business College. She had a blind date with a sailor through mutual friends, Kenneth Lee Clark. He left for Turkey for 18 months and when he returned, he proposed to her and then after just 6 weeks they were married in Kerrville on November 12, 1960. The navy sent them to Puerto Rico where their son, Randy Clark was born, then on to Washington DC where their daughter, Janet Clark-Wilson was born. They settled back in Dallas to raise their children after Ken retired from the Navy. She enjoyed hobbies such as sewing and painting. She hosted a weekly painting group with friends at her house.
In later years, she moved back to Kerrville then Midlothian, TX as she followed grandchildren & great-grandchildren and stayed close to them to watch them grow up. She also enjoyed travel with friends and relatives. Her final move was to San Antonio to be near family.
She was preceded in death by her parents James & Fanny Hanna, siblings – James Hanna, Juanita Jones, Elizabeth Sottosanti, Frances Bates and husband, Kenneth Lee Clark. She leaves behind her son and daughter in law Randy & Gail Clark, daughter Janet Wilson, grandchildren Clark Hardage, KJ Wilson & Kortney Mushinski and grandchildren – Weston, Jackson, Waylon, James, Noah, Koda, Frankie, June & Waverly and multiple nieces, nephews & friends.
