Michael Pete Anthony

Michael Pete Anthony passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 64. Raised by Michael and Jeane Anthony, Michael lived a life marked by service, ingenuity, creativity, and a deep love for his family.

A proud United States Air Force veteran, Michael dedicated his career to avionics engineering, working on remarkable aircraft including the SR-71 Blackbird and U-2 Dragon Lady. A natural creator, he loved working with machinery and electronics and was also a gifted artist, particularly in jewelry making.

Above all, Michael was a devoted father to his five children, Michael, Patrick, David, Elizabeth, and Michelle. He treasured time with his family, especially at their retreat in Kerrville, Texas, where some of their fondest memories were made, including quiet morning canoe rides together.

Michael will be remembered for his brilliant and creative mind, his remarkable talents, and the profound love he held for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A service honoring Michael’s life will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Rest Cemetery, 2000 Memorial Blvd. (State Highway 27), Kerrville, Texas 78028.
