Michael Winstead

Michael Jerome Winstead, 69, of Corpus Christi, passed from his blessed life on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Michael was born in Corsicana Texas, on September 5, 1946 to Harold Jerome and Tommie Jean Winstead . He married his best friend and the love of his life Dian Y. Ortiz Winstead on July 27, 1974.

Michael was co owner of Winsteads' Enco/Exxon and Winsteads' Quality Fashions For Men and Women. He also work at CPS and managed The Limousine Company for his brother. His last endeavor was at Sundance Services and Texas Southern Crane working along side his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his children, Amy Christy (James Keith) Tucker, Leticia Myra (Michael Dean) Bailey, Lucinda Robyn Winstead and Aaron Michael Jerome Winstead; grandchildren, Alaura Frances, Kyle Brandon Scott, David Jerome and Mikayla Myra; siblings, Bob (Dianna) Winstead, Bill (Kathy) Winstead, Mary K (Michael) Sheehan, Pat (Rhonda) Winstead, and John (Kimberley) Winstead; close family friend, Mark Eric Perez; along with a host of many loving friends, neighbors, and his church family who miss him greatly.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held 7 PM, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5620 Gollihar Road , Corpus Christi , Texas 78412.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Cemetery.
