Patsy Morgan

Patsy Ruth Morgan, 82, Passed form this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at local care facility in Fredericksburg, TX.

She was born to the late J.R. and Lillie Morgan in Celeste, Texas on October 25, 1930. Patsy was raised in Celeste and overcame polio in high school. Upon graduation of she moved to Salina, KS to attend nursing school where she met and married George Earl Morgan on December 28, 1951. George and Patsy then moved to El Paso, TX where she became the head nurse of the New Born Nursery of Providence Memorial Hospital. Later on in life, they decided to make their home in Kerrville, where Patsy helped run a security locksmith shop while also working at the V.A. Hospital and other nursing homes in the area. Patsy was an active member with the American Legion and VFW auxiliary.

She proceeded in death by her husband, George E. Morgan and parents J.R. Lindley and Lillie Kurkendall Lindley.

Those left to cherish her memories are her brother, Lionel Lindley sons, William Morgan, Frank Morgan daughter, Gwen Morgan along with four grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

A ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5 7 PM.

A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, October 16th, at 2:00 PM in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, Kerrville, TX. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
