Richard Land

Richard Clark Land, 69, of Hunt, TX, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on January 30, 2023.

Richard was born May 19, 1953, in Kerrville, TX, to Raymond and Eileen Land (deceased).

 He is survived by his wife Lisa Land (Hunt, TX); daughters Ginny (Justin) Darling (Castle Rock, CO), Sarah “Bird” Land (San Antonio, TX), Wendi (Bobby) Barker (Ingram, TX), Jenny (Montana) Martin (Kerrville, TX); grandchildren Braxton Barker (9), Olivia Martin (9), Emmie Barker (6), Grady Martin (5), and Hattie Martin (3); brother Keith (Vivian) Land (Wimberley, TX); mother of his oldest daughters Carol Benson (San Antonio, TX); and many loved family members, cherished friends, and countless acquaintances.

A lifelong resident of Kerr County, Richard’s impact on people from childhood to present came through common hobbies of hunting, fishing, golfing, softball, BBQ-ing, and the love of sharing a good story and big laugh under an oak tree or by the river.
Richard will be missed by all who met and loved him, and he leaves a true legacy of friendship, love, and laughter.

A celebration of his life will be held 2-6:00 PM, Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the Roddy Tree Ranch, 820 Hwy. 39, Ingram, TX.
