Robert Coker

Robert ''Bob'' Coker, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning November 19, 2019 in Kerrville, Texas.

Mr. Coker is survived by his wife, Sherron; children, Byron Coker and Amber Coker-Pfeil (Scott); grandchildren, Robert Pfeil, Shelby Patino (Eric), Byron Francisco Coker; brother, Donnie Coker (Diane)and uncle George Coker (Pat).

He is preceded in death by parents, Carlyle Isador Coker and Thelma Morse-Richardson and brothers, Edward and James Coker.

Bob was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina and enlisted at the age of 17 in the United States Air Force. He is a veteran of twenty years, serving in Thailand in support of the Vietnam War effort and earning the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. Bob was a long time member of the citizen's police in Lake Jackson, Texas and was instrumental in the creation of the chapter in Kerrville.

Visitation will be held from 5-6 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Kerrville Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will take place at 10AM on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Western Hills Baptist Church, 2010 Goat Creek Road, Kerrville, Texas with interment to be held at 10 AM on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Drummond Cemetery, 9213 FM 1235 Abilene, TX.
