Ronald Henry

Ronald Gene Henry Sr., 89, of Ingram TX passed from this life on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at a hospital in Frisco, TX.

He was born in Perry, OK on May 27,1932 to parents, Leona N. and Glenn L Henry. He attended Ponca City High School and later Oklahoma State University earning a degree in Chemical Engineering.

Ronald married the love of his life, Laverne Main in 1953. They were married 51 years until her death in 2004. They loved to dance and are probably dancing cheek-to-cheek in Heaven right now. He loved his career as a Chemical Engineer and a consultant with Exxon, Fina (Total), which took him around the world even spending 4 years in Tokyo, Japan.

He was a devoted husband and father. He loved fishing, hunting and watching football. Living in Ingram, TX brought him many years of joy, some of the happiest times of his life were spent sitting on the porch with a martini in hand and maybe a few Cheetos, too! He spent many evenings watching the sun set over the hills while the antelope grazed nearby. A more wonderful human being would be hard to find. He touched the lives of so many people. He maintained life-long friendships and built new, meaningful relationships easily.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Ronald Gene Henry Jr. and wife, Denise, Cynthia Ann Elliott and husband, Richard and Scott Glen Henry and wife Leslie; grandchildren, Ronnie Henry III and wife, Nikole; Jamie Henry Phillips and husband, Shawn; Lauryn Henry Maynard and husband, Zach and Ryan Henry; great grandchildren, Ronald Henry IV; Ryan Henry; Ayden Phillips and Callan Phillips.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leona and Glenn Henry, his wife, Laverne and grandchild, Remi Phillips.
