After graduation, she went to business school in Altoona and then worked in various fields; financial, real estate, but out of all those roles her favorite was working at the library on Camp Lejeune and Camp Johnson. She dedicated over 20 years of her life as a civil service worker where she took on many jobs to help support active duty personnel and their families.
