Ruth Inez Sheppard-Daniels, 65, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017, at her home in Waco, Texas. She was born April 4, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Grover and Thelma Sheppard. Ruth was born sister to James Sheppard and Patsy Romero and would help welcome her siblings, Steven Sheppard, Michael Sheppard, Richard Sheppard, and Lori Triana. In this large family, Ruth proved to be an avid student and caretaker who went on to pursue a career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse through which she proudly served in hospitals and nursing homes throughout the State. During her journey in this life, she was much more proud to be mother to Larry and Melanie Neagle, Jeremy and Jennifer Neagle, Billy Neagle, Tamatha and Blake Smith, and Amanda Browder, and grandmother to, Brittany Smith, Larry Neagle, Paul Neagle, Blake Smith, Alexandria Neagle, Alyssa Smith, Julie Neagle, Ashton Neagle, Tristan Neagle, Samantha Neagle, Isaac Neagle, Sara Smith, and Parker Sewell. She also opened her home and family to include Bonnie Charanza, Brad Tusa, Allen Murray, April and Barry Holkan, Terrie McCarthy, Dale Fraga, Thomas Dempsey, and Chris Daniels. In addition, she touched many more lives through friendship and conversation that can never be properly accounted. A memorial will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017, at 3 pm in Waco at the Universalist Unitarian Church.
