Sharon Richter

Sharon Ruth (Mueller) Richter, 72, of Kerrville, TX, passed from this life on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. She was born August 23, 1946, in San Antonio to Gladys Mueller Cherry.

Sharon was raised in Poteet, TX and married Chester Marron Richter on April 24, 1965 in Floresville, TX. Sharon and Chester were blessed with sharing 43 years together. Before retirement, she worked many years in the title industry. Sharon lived in Take it Easy Park, where she enjoyed playing cards, drinking coffee with friends and watching her birds, Hummingbirds being her favorite. She loved everything purple, flowers or anything that bloomed. She was a member of Calvary Temple Church. Sharon was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Cherry; husband, Chester Richter and brother, Robert Cherry.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her children, Stacy Richter of Kerrville, Clint Richter of Kerrville, Carey Palm and husband Bjorn of Hunt; granddaughter, Carissa Richter of Kansas; sisters in Christ, Sharon Holliman and husband Cecil of Kerrville and Tess Polk of Kerrville; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; beloved dogs, Doddlebug and Bittys; along with the many friends that she made in her life that will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday February 1, 2019 at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy. Kerrville, TX 78028.

Funeral Services will take place at 3 PM on Saturday February 2, 2019 in the main chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home.
