Veronica Boulware

Veronica (Roni) Marie Hinnenkamp Boulware, 91, 'saw Jesus and He took her breath away' at home on December 3, 2017. She was born April 19, 1926, to Marie Koll in Superior, Wisconsin. At a young age, she was blessed with a loving stepfather, Lawrence Hinnenkamp, who preceded her in death when she was 9 years old.

Roni grew up in Minnesota, but moved to Texas at the age of 18 to live with her Aunt and Uncle, Lennie and Lorrie. It was there she met her husband of @45 years, Wayne Boulware. The Boulware family welcomed her with open arms and became her family. She loved the Boulware/Shelton family dearly.

She sold Avon, worked as a checker, then office manager for Handy Andy, a teller at Frost Bank and an accounts receivable clerk for Cudd Pressure Control. After she retired, she joined a Senior Citizens group in Pflugerville, TX and enjoyed playing cards, bingo and engaging in other activities with this group. She went 3-1/2 days a week. While enjoying this group, she helped her son, Steve, with a Bible Study ministry for some of the seniors who wanted to know more about the Bible and our Savior. They met early at McDonald's once a week for coffee and study.

Roni enjoyed crocheting and cross stitching until her arthritis forced her to stop. She made beautiful gifts for family and friends for many years.

She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She was an avid reader and chose books about our Lord and Savior.

Roni was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bob; husband, Wayne; and 2 grandsons, John John Boulware and Brandon Burns.

She is survived by 3 children, Steve, Sr. of Austin, TX, Linda McNabb (husband Jim) of Mustang, OK and Cindy Burns (husband Joe) of Yukon, OK. She has 5 surviving grandchildren, Steve, Jr. of Dallas, TX, Brian McNabb of Mustang, OK, Shara Taylor (husband Jason) of Piedmont, OK, Tyler Burns (wife Beth) of Oklahoma City, OK and Craig Burns (wife Kim) of Houston, TX. She also has 6 surviving great grandchildren, Jaron and Jeslyn Taylor, Philipe Boulware and Arie, Hollis and Carlin Burns. She is also remembered by her brother and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
