Vicente Arriola

Vicente Avila Arriola Jr., 79, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Tuesday, October 29,2019 at a local care facility.

Vicente was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 23,1940 to parents, Vicente R. Arriola and Reyna Avila.

Vicente married Rachel on November 12, 1960 in Kerrville, Texas. Vicente had a passion for classic cars, music, and coins. He loved spending time with his family for any and all occasions.

Vicente is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente Arriola and Reyna Bill; step-father, Ruben Bill; daughter, Ernestine Flores and son, Roque Arriola.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Rachel Arriola; daughters, Mary Menchaca (Jesse) and Reyna Aguirre (Joel); son, Jose Arriola (Emily); four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family would like to the thank the wonderful staff at Alpine Terrace and Peterson Hospice.

A time of reflection and visitation will be held at 6 PM, Sunday, November 3, 2019 in the main chapel at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 PM, following the visitation with Deacon Sunny as officiant.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 9AM, Monday, November 4, 2019 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 909 Main Street, Kerrville, TX 78028.

Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.
