Vivian Brown

Vivian Genevieve Brown, 89, of Kerrville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 17, 2019.

She was born on August 19,1929 to parents, David and Irene (Davis) Summerville in Traskwood, Arkansas. She was the youngest of 10 children. Vivian was a wonderful caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a very dedicated and faithful Christian woman, who prayed often not just for her family but for all of her many friends as well. Vivian was a Sunday School teacher to children for over 30 years. She was a great influence on all those she met and to all her Sunday School students.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, David and Irene Summerville; and husband, Elbert Brown.

She is survived by her three children, Marlene (Roger) Baublit of Kerrville, TX; Kay (Jerry) Dechert of Kerrville, TX; and David (Nancy) Brown of South Lake Tahoe, CA. She also leaves a legacy of 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank her close friend, Jamie for her friendship and her compassionate care.

Funeral Services will be held in the main chapel at Kerrville Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10am with a visitation held one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories, 3250 Fredericksburg Road, Kerrville, TX 78028.
