William Bruehl

William Lee Bruehl, 77, formerly of Paxton, IL and Fisher, IL passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011at his residence in Kerrville, Texas.

Mr. Bruehl was born September 8, 1934 in Peoria, IL the son of Esther Birky and James Bruehl, Sr. He enlisted with the Marine Corps and served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict. Bill worked in the auto glass industry his entire life and managed several auto glass shops. He loved his thoroughbred race horses, played a great game of golf having carded 4 holes in one during his life and was a lifetime St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Mr. Bruehl was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are two sons: Kenny Bruehl and his wife, Tammy of Fisher, IL, Stan Bruehl and his wife, Donna of Kerrville, TX, two grandchildren: Jacob of Kerrville, TX and Samantha of Urbana, IL.

A private family graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Tremont, IL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial in the name of William Bruehl be made to a charity of choice.
