John Anthony Bitoni, 44, of Kerrville passed from this life on October 10, 2021.
John was born, and raised, in San Antonio, TX. He joined the Army at just 18-years-old and left active-duty service after 10 years. John loved the outdoors and, along with his cousin Jack and other friends and family, shared many good times fishing, riding bikes, barbequing, and spending time with family. John also loved vacations and acting silly, but he could be serious when he had to.
With a master’s degree in computer science, John got a job with the Veterans Administration in the Information Technology department, and he loved it! Those who had the pleasure to work with him, or be his customers, were very happy with his knowledge and customer service.
He loved trucks and was able to buy himself a beautiful 2021 Chevy Colorado Bison edition which he loved and treated like it was his baby.
John met the love of his life, Michael Tafoya, while working at the VA hospital in Kerrville, TX. They clicked right away and were planning their life together with a wedding date of October 30, 2021 – a Halloween themed wedding with costumes and everything!
John is survived by his fiance’, Michael, his mother, Vera, his son, Seth ,his daughter, Xenya and his sister, Sandra.
Anyone who was blessed to know, and love John, will miss him greatly.
A Graveside service will be held at 10AM on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
